My husband and I decided to raise our family in the quiet little town of Crystal Lake. It's been seventeen years already and the town isn't so "little" anymore!

Currently, we have a five year old Golden Retriever and a rescue girl "Spring", aptly named since she can jump 6 ft. fences. I take way too many photos of them but they are such willing subjects.

We've had animals our whole lives and can't imagine life without a pet or two. We often sit around at family dinners and share stories about our rover's antics or the neighborhood "crazy cat lady" who happened to have been my grandmother.

During my experience working at a pet hotel, I observed that some pets did not always have a positive experience. Owners with rescue pets were particularly anxious about leaving "rover" behind the wire fence. After listening to pet owner's needs and with the support of my family, I decided to start my dog walking and pet sitting business in 2008.

With the expansion of Red Rover Pet Services, I am also pleased to have recently hired two women that have outstanding references! My mom and daughter.
