Our family has had the pleasure of employing Kathy to care for our golden retriever, Puffles since March of 2010.  Our family vacations frequently, and when we are out of town, we trust Kathy to look after both our dog and our home in our absence.  Each time I interact with Kathy, I find her to be very professional, responsible and reliable.  She always leaves a detailed account of her visits with Puffles including  bathroom breaks and adventures while walking or playing with Puffles in the backyard.  We have also asked her to get our mail, take out the garbage and water plants in the summer.

It is so comforting knowing that someone is in and out of the house on a regular basis while we are out of town, not only to check on, feed and tend to Puffles, but also to make sure things are ok with the house.   Based on the written information she leaves behind detailing her visits, I sometimes feel Puffles is better taken care of while we are gone than when we are home!

We employed another popular pet sitter in the area prior to Kathy only to learn from our neighbors that they were bringing “friends” along on their visits to our home.  This did not sit well with us.  That is when we found Kathy.  We were most taken with how seriously she takes her job right down to being bonded and insured.  We have never had a neighbor have anything but positive things to say about Kathy when she has been at our home.

 We found Kathy Todd with Red Rover Pet Services by way of her business card left at our vet’s office. We have used two other pet sitters in the past and being new to the area we didn’t know anyone to ask for are referral. After meeting with Kathy, I knew immediately she was going to fit right into our family with pets. She is passionate about pets and the care she provides, and works hard to make her business a success. Kathy is very positive,wants to follow our routine with our pets (not hers like other pet sitters), always available to talk, gives great play by play summaries of her time with our dog, cat and fish and has gone above and beyond our expectations.  She even came to my rescue one day when I locked myself out of the house while I had both kids with me. She wasn’t schedule for any visits with me, but figured out a way to get to the visits she did have scheduled and still come unlock my door with no questions asked and I was so grateful to her!!! We use Kathy every time we are gone now and we leave knowing that part of us, our pets, is going to be fine and when we get home from trips everything is so well taken care of and our dog especially is very calm and happy!!!
